Shawnee Tribe, Domestic Violence Program

The Shawnee Tribe is a resource for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking and sex trafficking and the behavioral health response to these crimes, leveraging other community resources for a holistic response. We provide culturally specific individual counseling, group counseling, case management, relationship building, support groups, education, and outreach. Services may be provided in person, through telehealth counseling and support, or clients may be referred to other providers, depending on their need and location. Native and non-Native individuals who are recent victims of the above-listed crimes and reside in our 5-county service area (Ottawa, Delaware, Craig, Rogers and Mayes Counties) are eligible for Program assistance, regardless of gender.

We also have resources which allow us to serve Shawnee victims who live in the United States but outside of the Oklahoma counties served.
